The Money Frog, also known as the three legged toad or “Chan Chu” in Chinese is probably the most auspicious symbol of money-making. This mythical creature is said to appear every full moon near homes that will receive good news of increased wealth or monetary gain. Often portrayed sitting on a bed of wealth bearing a coin in its mouth, it is a wonderful symbol for wealth and career luck and for the patriarch of the family. The Money Frog is used for attracting wealth and abundance and can often be seen near cash registers, receptions, managers' desk and offices in Oriental countries.
Here are some ways you can use the Money Frog to Feng Shui your way to a better life.
1.) Placing a Money Frog in the North part of your home or office will positively stimulate your career and eliminate obstacles to your work. According to the energy map of the 8 Trigrams Chart, the North governs your Career luck. This will help garner support from your boss or co-workers and protect you from the negative intentions of enemies and competitors.
2.) Display the Money Frog in the South East sector of your living room or home to attract lots of money luck, this being the Wealth Sector based on the Pakua Life Aspiration Theory.
3.) Place a Money Toad near the cash register of your business premises to attract sales and increase profits.
4.) In Flying Star Feng Shui, Money Frogs made from metal (brass, bronze, pewter etc) can be used to ward-off the evil influences of #2 Black Star and #5 Wu Wang. The #2 Sickness Star causes illnesses and ailments whilst the deadly 5 Yellow brings a host of misfortunes to occupants. Placing a metal cure in the affected sectors will disperse these hostile energies.
